Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic School

Overview

In our school we believe that each person is unique and created to flourish in God’s image.
We aspire to excellence through a nurturing environment in which every child takes Jesus Christ as their model and develops their individual gifts so that they live fully and serve others.

Our Lady Queen of Peace Primary School was built in Penshaw in 1937 and since then we have worked with our parish to build a vibrant Catholic community. In July 2019 the school joined Trinity Multi Academy Trust and we work in partnership to nurture and care for our pupils and provide first class teaching and learning. Our children are happy and valued, they grow in faith and achieve academically, they form lasting relationships and contribute generously to the life of the community.

We seek excellence in all and for all and our skilled staff provide exciting learning opportunities. We warmly welcome families and children from diverse backgrounds who support and enhance our Catholic ethos.
