All pupils in Key Stage 1 (Reception, Year 1 and Year 2) are currently entitled to receive free school meals under the Government’s Universal Infant Free School Meals initiative. Even if your child currently receives free meals in this way or brings a packed lunch into school, it is still important to complete this check as eligibility unlocks additional funding for our schools to spend on all pupils.
